Nurses and Care givers are intimately involved in all aspects of end of life and palliative care. They address the myriad of needs facing individuals at this time of life. They have the potential to greatly reduce the burden and distress of those facing life’s end and the ability to offer support for the many physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
LEARNING OUTCOME: The learner will gain knowledge of communication, pain and symptom management related to the end-of-life care. The learner will apply their knowledge in an end-of-life simulation setting.

This training is designed for Nurses providing end of life patient care (RN, LPN, NP, PA).
An ELNEC-Care at Bedside training for CNA/NAs, Home Health or other care providers will be held on July 9th. No CE's will be offered for the July 9th class and registration will be just $40. UAA Nursing students can attend that class for free.
