Training Overview Description

Rosa Niemi, MS, RN to present live from Petersburg, on a high-reliability organization provides a reliable service at a reasonable cost while reducing errors even though it operates in a high risk environment. A good example of this is the airline industry. You want your plane to land safely EVERY time, not just some of the time. The same should be true for healthcare. The high-reliability journey emphasizes safety and just organizational culture, quality improvement processes, use of EBP, resiliency, and other factors that make nursing care more safe, and cost effective.
