Training Overview Description

This newly launched CME for providers is self-paced and presented by Alaskan medical experts in pain management, addiction, and public health. The web-based training will provide one hour of education on addiction, opioid use, and pain management for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants licensed in Alaska.

This course was developed in response to the new state training requirements for prescribers with a DEA license in the state of Alaska to complete two hours of continuing education training on addiction, opioid use, and pain management. It is just one option available to providers to complete this requirement.

*Other courses can be found on our State of Alaska’s Opioids website or from other accredited resource that meet the requirements. *
