Hepatitis C virus is on the rise in rural communities of the U.S. This presentation will describe the syndemic of opioid use disorder (OUD) and hepatitis C (HCV). Dr. Tsui will present evidence showing the current gaps in treatment for OUD and HCV among persons who inject drugs.
